Paul is 50!!!

Well it wasn't a secret was it? Paul was my manager in my first NCC pensions job, in the payroll team. Today is his 50th birthday...but like the true professional that he is, he was at his desk early this morning - the payroll wont run itself!!

Lorraine did her usual stunning cake and a mountain of cards adorned with 50 and with references mostly to beer, decorate the desk.

Don't worry Paul, it's only a number - everyone wishes you a very happy half century.

Work was ploughed through as normal & at lunch we did a scenic 2 & a half mile walk.

I'm on my way home now. Hope for a swim and an allotment check tonight...in that order.
