Forever Autumn

Best viewed *larger*

Usually when I take a sunset picture, it's out in the open somewhere, in the middle of a field, but today, it was through the hedge! Difficult finding a space through the zillion twigs. So this is a very unusual shot of a sunset & possibly my first sunset blip since May! The sun has moved... actually *the earth* has shifted & now the sun sets in a more accessible place for me, ok, so when done *properly*, I'd still have to cross the main road, but least it's just the corner edge of the first field & not the field half way down a tall hedged lane & into another field, a walk along it's width & through another gate like in the summer!

As for Larry...

Turning with the leaves

Emotional day again - Wednesday - usually is, as my mummy died on a Wednesday & today her gravestone was finally erected replacing her rotting wooden cross with the rusting brass plate bearing her name. Now it's done properly. And the sun shone so brilliantly as the grey stone with the silver leaf lettering was erected at midday to the full song of a robin - not Larry, but a village robin. It was a beautiful moment & the silver leaf lettering caught the sun & the stone sparkled. xxxx
