Water Forget-me-not

At least it is growing in Kanyl's pond and has done for a number of years.  The usual afternoon evening visit, as his lawn mower is hors de combat I usually take mine.  Today it had rained on and off all morning and was as I left.  No point in taking the mower - wrong it was bone dry 5 miles down the road at his house.

Water Forget-me-not (Myosotis scorpiodes) is an erect perennial with rhizomes.  Other Forget me nots can be annual biennial as well. Native to the temperate parts of the Northern Hemisphere it has been introduced to some areas to the extent that it can become a noxious weed.
