Cheese

T. observes the strange things going on at the cheese market in Alkmaar.
The traditional market is every Friday and a highlight of a trip to the Nederlands.
The cheese porters created a special kind to run, to transport the heavy cheese safely.

It was well worth the visit. The actors had a lot of fun, even it is hard work. Carrying a young lady is relaxing for them (see extra).
After the market, J. and T. climbed upon the roof of the Grote St. Laurentius church. The church celebrates 500 years and they have build a stairway to heaven (Klim naar de hemel). 200 steps to a fabulous view outside and also a n unique close view to the paintings on the ceiling of the church. In Germany such a event would never be allowed.
Dutch are crazy... that's why I love them :-)
To make the day perfect we spent the afternoon at the beach.
