Deliberately Discordant

Our six hour journey home did not start well.

We usually avoid the bottleneck that is Lyndhurst, and have a route through the Forest to avoid it.

This being the New Forest, you always have to be mindful that there could be ponies around the next bend. We have also found our way blocked by donkeys and cattle.

Today we approached Minstead behind a cow and her calf. There was a compact between the two of them, they were in no hurry, and occupied the middle of the road. The occasional loud Moo indicated that we would just have to be patient.

Home now. Phew !
