TINY TUESDAY

Thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments yesterday - fortunately, I didn’t stay “down” for long.  Mr. HCB and I had arranged to meet our older grandson at the Designer Outlet in the afternoon, and whilst there, had Afternoon Tea at Patisserie Valerie, a gift to us for our Golden Wedding from two dear friends.  It was delicious, and the best thing was that we were so full that I didn’t need to cook in the evening!

This morning, despite it being rather grey, Mr. HCB and Keith have gone to Bristol to watch the penultimate four day cricket match.  He had to leave just after 8.30 am, since the match will finish earlier because, as those who live in the UK will know, the nights are drawing in.

So, because I have a lot to do today - it’s hard work being retired - I decided that pink robe notwithstanding, I would get out in the garden and take a few shots for Tiny Tuesday.  I was quite determined to use the Canon 200D, but I also took some shots with the Canon SX50 and when I looked at them on the computer, the colour from the SX50  is more true to the actual colour of the Cosse Violette climbing French bean, which I blipped on 31st July..  I have put the 200D shot in as an extra so that you can see the difference.  Perhaps someone could explain this to me.

Better go back to the manual for the Canon 200D and see if I can do anything about shooting something in its true colours - but that will have to be after I have done the rest of the jobs I have planned for today, which could include picking beans, as Mr. HCB is not about, and there are plenty still to pick.

     of showing its true colors
because it knows it is beautiful
