Forest Friday

Today marks a change to my usual routine for Fridays now that Violet has started school.  I spent the morning doing housework and some work of the paid variety and this afternoon joined Zeus09smum and Zeus for a walk in the forest.  We went to Strawberry Hill, the first time for a long time for me.  I've  blipped the pond several times in the past and did takes some shots today, but the water levels are low and the water quite muddy looking so I've settled for this rather splendid oak nearby.

As it is Flower Friday, which I rarely miss, I've added an extra shot of one of the Handel roses that are enjoying a second flush.
