More strangeness.

Some time ago I spotted the fact that some of my, late planted, corn seemed to be doing better at one side than t'other.
Today it was even more odd:-
The corn is biggest at right side, the Leeks are doing better at the left side (Nearest Leeks) and, unseen, the beet, nearer "us than the corn, was also best at the right side.
DUH!
It was either that, for my record(s) or the beastie on my, now flowering, Garlic chives.
I hasten to add that the top layer on the Leek bed has only been down 1-2 weeks tops; so either all those weed seeds were already in the bag of "Lakeland Gold" or there's some pile of wind-borne sowing going on.
