Nicky and her Nikon

A very quiet day at home

After the excitement of last night's party and the late night, it was a slow start to the morning today. The boys got in at about 4am (not Luke, he got home earlier as he cannot dance) and had a lot of fun at the club, so it was a good evening for them and a good way to end the birthday celebrations. I was up early and was pottering about for hours before anyone else got up!

Adam was very appreciative of his party as were his friends - so many of them thanked us last night and we thought they were all so well behaved and well mannered, it's good to see that. Adam opened his presents, and then later this afternoon he wrote thank you notes for me to post as he then left to return to Cambridge as the new term starts later this week. Luke will be going back to Durham with Meriel on Tuesday as their term also starts this week - so life will be very calm again and the house will be very quiet and empty once more.

Luke and Meriel obliged by allowing me to take a photo of them today. Tomorrow Luke has his last physio session here and he has found a good physio in Durham so he will continue the treatment there. He is still wearing his knee brace - not a cool look wearing the metal brace over his suit pants last night, but needs must and it does not fit under his trousers.
