Rain

As yesterday's trip was a bit of a disaster I had to go back over to Milton Keynes today to buy the things I still need for Iceland. Gloves and a hat.
And hot chocolate, posh pot noodles, a few more snacks (well we don't want to starve!!) and some new jim-jams (my mum doesn't need to see the mismatched baggy, paint spattered, raggedy, elastic-less jim-jams that I wear round the house at home!)
So it was to TKMaxx and Asda. Wow, big mistake going to Asda on a Saturday afternoon!!!!
But it was done eventually and I now have a lovely new bobble hat (wool on the outside and fleece inside, perfect combination!), some gloves, new jim-jams and a fabulous Christmas tree teapot (see extras)
The teapot is obviously not for Iceland, I just couldn't resist it!!!!!
Home for the football (1-1 draw with Southampton) and then out to Adstock for our friends Mrs S and Mr C joint 70th birthday party at the Thatched Inn.
It was really lovely - great food, getting together with friends, a free bar and Mr C's fabulous band.
Unfortunately Miss L suddenly announced her mouth felt funny and her tongue was tingly. Eek!!!!
So we decided to get home in case she needed antihistamine or the ambulances my overactive Mummy imagination worried might be needed.
She was fine!
It was 1030pm so they'd done pretty well.
Strictly then bed.
