Marjorie's ramblings

Alice and Ann

The day dawned cold and frosty. I had to go carefully on my walk in the village to avoid slippery bits.

I walked as far as the school. The new estate called Chesters Meadows is nearby, so I called to see if Ann was at home. Here she is with Alice.

Alice has just had to have several teeth extracted, but is making good progress. She rates very highly on the cuteness stakes.

It was otherwise a busy day. Julie was rushed to hospital in Newcastle with breathlessness, but was well enough to go home after tests. Alistair came with soup and good cheer. Margret brought shopping.

Then we had a lovely visit from fellow blipper, hazelh along with Mrhazelh and Mahazelh. They brought banana bread that was still warm. They are coming to terms with the death of hazelh’s father. He died peacefully and was ready, but leaves a big gap in their lives. It is a sad time.

Arth felt very left out and started shouting loudly. A chemical cosh has been applied to sort him out!
