Bangalore, INDIA

To give us more resting time, we were picked up at 2 p.m.  There was enough time to visit the old Town Hall (extra) and new Town Hall and the Royal Palace.  We couldn't help but compare it with the splendour we saw in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh years ago as it is soooo different here in the state of Karnataka, of which Bangalore is the capital.  Afterwards, we passed by a couple of temples, then dinner, then back to our boutique hotel.  In case you're wondering, no 5-star stuff for us, but cozy homelike places are enough and our little nook is a cutey.

Tomorrow, we'll be fetched at 09.30.  There won't be all that much left to see, but Bangalore was supposed to be the place to rest from the trip, so we'll be spending three nights here and tonight will be the second night already.  After Bangalore ... now that will be interesting, I think.

A childhood friend of mine (45 years of friendship, since primary school) was born here and she has given me tips, advice, suggestions ... thanks, Chamu, for all your love!  Wish we could have met here!
