A very Happy New Year from Newcastle!

As you can see, we did go down to the Quayside (with a tripod this time!) for the midnight fireworks show as I predicted yesterday.

It was a spectacular show - it only lasted about 6 minutes but it was impressive nevertheless. And it provided more practice for me in capturing firework shots. Then it was back home for a glass of celebratory bubbly.

Here's hoping that 2019 is a fabulous year for all blippers! All the very best to you all.
