Haberdashery.

Grace’s day off today. A much duller but warmer morning but no matter as we were off to the shopping mall at Cribbs Causeway to visit John Lewis’s haberdashery dept.

It’s Grace’s birthday next month and she wanted materials for an embroidery. I’ve downloaded the pattern she wanted so now it was time to get the fabrics, hoop, needles and floss. She also spotted a pattern for a jumpsuit she’d like to make.
When she will find time for all these activities I don’t know!

We had a coffee in John Lewis and returned something to M&S (at the other end of course) and apart from a quick look in Seasalt, which hadn’t opened last time I was here, we didn’t hang around as Eda is a bit like a loose cannon in these places. She was fascinated with the escalators here, looking down from the top floor, but we opted to use the lift for safety reasons.
We headed back in time for lunch to avoid her falling asleep in the car.
A chilled afternoon though we may pop out to the park before it gets dark. A bit later every night now!
