A screen of snow-covered branches

Over the last week we've had a fair bit of snow here in mid-Sweden. It has mostly fallen on days without wind so it has built up in the trees, as well as on the ground.
I took this picture as we went out on a x-country skiing trip. The snow was deep enough, and soft enough, that it turned into a x-country tramping trip. Every time I moved my ski forward it sank 30 cm down into the snow. Pick it up, step it forward, down again into the snow! It was easier on the way back because we could actually ski in the track we made heading out.
Tomorrow a snowstorm is forecast, giving us another 30 cm or so. Sunday, another snowstorm, another 20 cm of snow.
It's a good thing we like winter :-)
