Dunollie once more

Woke up to light rain this morning, but Davie and I had agreed to go back to Dunollie to burn the branches and rotten logs that we'd collected up yesterday, so we did! Two other volunteers turned up - Lisa, who agreed to start the fire, and David, who cleared the huge load of bamboo which had been cut a while ago and bring it to the fire.

I took three hours off to collect Mrs M and go to the cinema to see 'Mary Poppins Returns', which was amazing. I was worn out just watching it! So many well-known actors in it too. I got back to Dunollie in time to help roll all the bigger logs on to the fire.

We'll need to go back again when the rest of the timber has been cut into liftable lengths and have another fire. There are quite a number of fallen or broken trees that have been lying there for years and are past being used for firewood. I'm going to be helping with trying to complete a database of all the shrubs and trees, which will be fun. There aren't that many - it's not a big garden.
