Where is Spring?

Dear Diary,

Another 8 inches of snow yesterday and the piles grow.  This is a window in my dining room over the old soap stone sink.  It is about six feet off the ground.  So, that snow pile you see through the glass is nearly seven feet.  It was a perfect snow for building things so Henry created his first snow mouse.  We worked together adding pine needles for whiskers and raisins for eyes.  He said it would help us not feel so sad.  He was right, at least for a little while.  Humor they say is a great tonic for the soul and it certainly is.  If we are able to somehow laugh through our tears, we will be infinitely better for it.   (See extra for Henry and his Snow Mouse.)
