Pink Polyanthus

It was frosty this morning, but it soon thawed although I did not see the sun today. It was ten degrees Celsius at noon although it did not feel like it. It is still windy and this is having an effect on how the temperature feels.

The surveyor from Affinity Water came to survey our property this morning, as we have to have a water meter fitted. He did it there and then taking about fifteen minutes. So much for the telephone operator who wanted to put it in the kitchen. The surveyor said they are just reading from a script, well maybe they need to update their script. It seems it is nearly always [laced outside where the water enters the property. The leaflet says we have chosen to have a water meter, not so, we were told that we have to have one.

I spent the day doing paperwork, where does it all come from? I also did some proof reading for Victoria and wrote some letters.

This evening I hope to catch up with my temperature blanket.

Today’s picture is of some pink Polyanthus flowers growing in one of our front borders.
