Bell Rock Light in Detail.

Returning to shore after taking the photo which became the basis for today’s Blipfoto became challenging to put it mildly. Our speed dropped from 40 knots to 2 as our pilot skilfully managed the craft over some very mountainous waves which arose within about 5 minutes from a relatively calm sea.

We arrived back in Arbroath very "drookit" and pleased to be on dry land. Awesome respect for the people who built the lighthouse between 1807 and 1811.
