A view from Jeanneb

In the swim!

A beautiful morning but chilly. We went out of the city to Thornbury, about 25 minutes drive, with great views of the Severn Estuary all the way, as Grace wanted to visit a garden centre to get some plants for her garden pots. On the way around Eda was kept happy with a banana as we selected a basket full of plants.

Later we went into the cafe for a coffee and the big plus of choosing this place is it had a soft play area. As you can see Grace threw herself into it too and she and Eda were swimming through the balls here. Eda went in on her own later and up to the other end where they could climb through obstacles and then come down a slide. Quite a lot of other children there as it is the Easter break downhere. Eda has a great time but we managed to persuade her away to have some lunch so that she would be ready for her nap when we got home.

Grace went for a run whilst Eda slept and then it was out in the garden again in the afternoon as the sun was warm and Eda had got her very own watering can from the garden centre.
We had great fun with lots of water everywhere!

John has gone to watch the show tonight so Nangy and Boppa have been in charge. I did tea; we both did bath time; Chris read the bed time stories and I put her to bed. A good team effort and so much easier than doing it on your own!

Sitting down now and ready for a glass of wine. We get to see the show tomorrow night.
