It Takes Two

Tough Lie

I was the coordinator of a Singles Club outing on Friday to play miniature golf.  I didn't play because I still can't walk around/stand on my ankle for over an hour.  I was sitting directly facing the wind - and it was windy.  They wanted to eat their lunch outside, too.  After three hours of sucking in all that pollen, I think I now have a bronchial infection.  Been using my nebulizer three times a day.

But here's the worst part:  I had to take them out again today.  It's like they're kids: they can't organize themselves to do anything and most are at least 10 years older than me. That's why I'm posting golf blips now instead of Friday.   I worked on the photo I used for the blip forever and then I sort of liked the extra (Jim's ball hanging on the lip).  Barbara was the winner though because of the massive effort.

I missed my first ever blip yesterday as a result of my inability to breathe.  There have been a lot more serious things I've blipped through and throwing up an emergency blip for the sake of keeping the streak intact just didn't seem right to me.  I think now there won't be any EBs for me and if I'm sick, well, I'm sick.  So my streak ends at 3025 blips.  RIP blip-streak: January 1, 2011 - April 12, 2019  :-))

Wish I worked at an Embassy:
Q: Why do ambassadors never get sick?
A: Diplomatic immunity.
