Arthur o' Houbie

Arthur o’ Houbie is a  Burra Bear. He is the latest in the family collection of Burra Bears and joins Walter o’ Hamnafield,  Hector o' Hamnavoe, Hume, Meg and the seven other bears we've bought over the years for great nieces and great nephews. 
 
Arthur is the bear who will be given to our beautiful grandson who was born this afternoon just after 2:00pm. It’s less than six weeks since Walter’s owner was born and we can’t believe our good fortune. The baby’s parents, our elder son and his partner, are of course thrilled and besotted. As I am sure we will be when we get over to Glasgow to meet him. Doesn’t look as if it’s going to be tonight but tomorrow for sure.
