Snakes head fritillaries

We have none in our garden, but Margret (next door) planted a lovely patch in her lawn. I've been wanting to photograph them for days.

I had an idea in my mind and I could not capture it. It's been a day like that.

We have had a quiet Easter Sunday. Liz came to see us which was lovely. She and Nick are back from Germany for a few days before they embark on a longer trip.
