Goldfinch .....

... back to his bright yellow color!

We have goldfinches here year round. However, during the winter months they lose their brightness .... especially the males.  I'm always so happy when they molt back to their summer gold!  The females are also gold but not nearly as bright as the males. 

Richard recently moved one of the thistle feeders to the front yard .... exactly eye level to the front window! Now I can watch them all day .... as long as I'm not down in the sunroom!
