Marjorie's ramblings

The tools of the trade

Today was K Day - the day the work on the kitchen started in earnest. The electrician (plus father-in-law), a labourer and a plumber all arrived at various times. Mark, the electrician worked wonders, removing the spotlights, wiring in new ones and placing all the sites for the sockets. Keith, the plumber renewed pipes below the kitchen, resited the waste pipe and moved a radiator. The lad had to hack the wall tiles from the wall. That brought away the plaster board behind and has broken a small hole through to the airing cupboard. “No problem” saidMark, cheerfully!

I went for an appointment with a new physio to discuss Arth’s progress. He was thorough and suggested some very gentle exercises to gently nudge Arth towards better functioning. Fingers crossed.

While in Prudhoe I browsed in the gallery of Paul Stangrom. I love some of his work. He was teaching a small class of students so I just took a photograph of his work space. I love the vibrant colours.
