A Peachy Kind of Day

Had big thunderstorms overnight and everything was wet this morning - including this Mourning Dove.  However, the light was nice and the perch was nice and it seemed like a good blip for the day.

Mom and Dad and I took off on a hike this morning on one of my favorite trails.  We saw all kinds of things and had a nice amble along the marsh.  Back home where we've done some laundry, lunch and visiting.  Then they took off to run some errands and find some geocaches.  Planning a low-key dinner tonight with fresh veggies, pasta and goat cheese.  Nice and easy.  Tomorrow Hubs is off so we will get busy transitioning the RV from my parents to us - gulp!  Much to do.

And, because life should never be too simple, our upstairs AC is on the fritz - and it's in the 80's today.  Windows open and fans dispensed.  Repair guys aren't coming until next week, but temps are dropping tonight so we'll be fine.  Don't sweat the small stuff...

I am treasuring this time with my parents.
