Not silly

Thanh will be traveling on business for the next two weeks, and I will miss my tutoring sessions with him.  My brain gets a much-needed workout and he gets a better handle on English.  Among the words and phrases he brought in today were so lame, manipulate, defect  and disorder,; he wanted to know if  he could substitute the word disease for that one.  Then he read news articles about teacher salaries and insurance parity for mental health treatment.

I was looking for a Silly Saturday blip at the market, but the closest I could come was this pink cake.  I've never seen the frosting on a cake put on in big swirls that way and it really caught my eye.
