The twiddle scarf

Julie called for coffee on her way to lunch with the coven in Haltwhistle (don't ask).

She has a cousin with dementia. He tends to pick at his fingers repetitively, so Julie has made him a twiddle scarf. The original idea was a twiddle muff, designed by Margaret Light for her grandmother. You can also buy twiddle aprons. Julie designed this herself. It has all sorts of different things sewn on that will give different sensory experiences. Hopefully her cousin will like it.

I've been doing more sorting. Julie managed to match three lids and boxes and I matched another three. Progress!

Margret and Vera came this afternoon. Vera is one of Margret's cousins. We had a lively chat over a cuppa.
