Green on Blue

Busy at the Civic all day, but as I had meetings across what some people still call “lunchtime”. I took a quick trip out to get my usual cheese and sandwich barm. Taken aback to find blue skies,

And the greens. Big mature lime trees line Chorley Road, and the magnolias on the lawns might have long since flowered (except that there is one emerging in shot here) but remain an attractive shade of green.

So a bit of an EB today. I quite like the calmness of this shot, much needed
