Bluff And Bluster

After a violent storm and torrential rain overnight, logging over 2.5", the blue sky and sunshine tempted me outside. However, the wind was still blowing strongly and looking for something still to photograph was not productive.

I decided to embrace the conditions and using a fairly slow shutter, I tried to capture movement by blurring my subjects as they moved erratically in the wind.

Finding the best shutter speed was difficult to gauge because the wind speed changed constantly, but with some experimentation and timing I managed to get something I was happy with.
