Pastels

(5th October)

I think I can manage to blip pink every other day!

We got to the service well in time; the first one without our Pastor of the last five years. It went really well, and I found I really enjoyed it! It was longer than normal though. We stayed back to chat with a few people, and then before you knew it, it was 3 pm that we sat down for lunch. Today was a takeaway from Little Hut, a restaurant that's been in my area since the 1980s, but I've never eaten there ever! G wanted Chinese noodles, so we tried them. They were good but more expensive than you'd expect.

I had a much needed quiet day for the rest of the day! The pastel pens are something we got in the summer. It's for one of my sisters, so I've just got to figure out how to get it to her.

Whilst buying the tickets to The (Beautiful) South concert last night, I noticed that there is a performance of  Handel's Messiah scheduled in the same week! This is a special concert as part of the Year of Tolerance. Well, it is such a landmark event, I got us tickets for that. History in the making for sure, and we're going to be there! :)
