Mrs BB

Got up late after yesterday's shenanigans and wandered into town via the nature reserve.  A lot of kids' rugby was being played on the field so the reserve was rather disturbed by the noise.  A heron soared low over my head but landed too far across the river to be blippable and all I saw was this female blackbird just by the entrance.  However, she had the kindness to stay put close enough and in nice light for me to get a shot, so it was hard to feel cheated.

This afternoon Sis and Jax came over for a coffee and catch-up.  It was lovely to see them.

Okay, that's me.  Altogether a nice weekend - which I hope yours has been/is being as well  xx
