A "Winter Mix"...

...that's what the weather forecasters call this rather messy weather. It means a combination of snow, sleet or freezing rain. We woke up to see we'd gotten snow sometime during the night but it wasn't much. Shortly thereafter, though, the "Winter Mix" began. It couldn't make up it's mind which combination of snow, rain or sleet it wanted to drop, so it did it all in cycles. I had to go to the post office so stopped in the park on the way home, debating whether it was worth it to get out of the car and get wet or not. But then I noticed how the wetness on the windshield softened & blurred the branches with the snow on them, & the nice yellow of the leaves in the background,  so opted for a shot through the glass and saved myself a sopping. :))
