Abstract Thursday - Cotswold Fire

Such a difference from yesterday. After a goodly use of the SAD lamp and a reasonable nights sleep, the morning began full of sunshine, which I enjoyed with a coffee in the front garden. Then, we went wandering.

Janet wanted to find some fly algaric mushrooms; maybe the magic mushrooms hadn't been enough. ;-)

Beginning in the car park at Cam Peak, we followed the right of way signs and meandered our way to Uley where we had a top up coffee at Prima Arts Centre. Heading up to Uley Bury we made out way back along Cam Long Down.

Passing a fallen over fingerpost sign for the second time, although Janet was convinced it was a second one, later photographic evidence proved we had walked in a figure of eight!

13k steps, 9km and 66 flights of steps. But of course, no fly algaric at all.

This HDR shot from Uley has been transmogrified and fartnarkled using Trimaginator. I was reminded of this triangular utility on viewing the work of Andy Walker currently on display at Prima. The extra is of Downham Hill, where a medieval smallpox isolation hospital once stood.
