Across to Edinburgh

It felt like my alarm was going off five minutes after I went to bed.  Of course it didn’t.  I was reluctant to get out of bed, but I  had a train to catch, and before that a bus,.  An old friend met me at Leuchars station and we had a lovely day out in St Andrews.  A wander around the shops and a nice lunch.  It was sunny when we got there, but raining by the time we left.  My train home was huge and empty.  A real treat compared to the trains we usually endure.

I got home to find a weary BB – who was in denial about being tired, after his hike and (no) sleepover.  TT had made a delicious curry for tea.  Later I watched Strictly and we watched Spiral before an early night.
