Autumn - Harlow Carr

As interpreted by the Embroiderers’ Guild.
A not too auspicious day to visit the RHS Garden at Harlow Carr, Harrogate but we’ve had a lovely time.
Lunch in Betty’s of course with a selection of Christmas Fancies on offer. I like to look at the ‘Fancies’ but never try them. We then walked around the gardens and there is still a bit of colour around. The lady on the desk recommended we go to the library to see an embroidery panel done by a N York’s Embroiderers’ Guild. A photograph had been taken at Harlow Carr showing lovely Autumn colour.
It was then cut into 48pieces and given to individual Embroiderers to interpret.
I just had to blip the whole thing.  Beautiful work. (Better definition in large)
From January 6th all four seasons are going to be on display.
A bit of shopping and then back into Betty’s for a cuppa and a mince pie served with clotted cream!
A great start to the weekend. Have a good one everyone.
(Thanks for all the love for my Three Kings)
