CHRISTMAS ROSE

Got to Mum's before 10.00 am this morning.  After a lovely coffee our Nephew-in-Law popped in with Charlie (8) and Alice (5).  Lots of fun and games while they run round Mum's little bungalow.  Then they had to depart.

On the way home took Mum into Beetham's for a coffee and a browse.  It wasn't too busy, just nice enough to give atmosphere.  Whilst there I saw these lovely Helleborous - the colour of this one was so lovely and had been freshly watered so looked in great condition.  My ones at home always seem to droop downwards and are a greeny white colour.  These are much nicer.

We then decided to head up to Harry's Bar and the Yew Tree Barn in High Newton for a very light, but delicious lunch.  It was fairly busy but still great service, smiles and laughter.

Now back home chilling while Mum settling in for her Christmas break.  Next year we may be in Edinburgh, you never know - looking into it but it may never happen, we will see.

Thank you all for dropping by.  Take care and see you
