Long lies all round.  There was a queue for the shower, but I was happy to stay in bed and wait for my turn.  I eventually finished the second Muriel Spark novel (Robinson) and started a new book.  Later in the morning we three went for a walk into town, picking up Sunday papers and a few bits and pieces while we were at it.  It was then home for a late lunch.

After a quiet afternoon watching movies, it seemed no time at all before we were eating tea.  And then it was time to head back down the road.  The drive was slow going to start with, as it was really foggy, but that cleared.  BB got home in time to watch the final episode of His Dark Materials and I pottered while TT was sorting out Christmas lights.

A field with next year’s crop  growing.
