Finally

I wasn’t sure if it was possible so I waited until 11:30 pm, but this year has finally come to an end: kicked back, feet up.

It didn’t end quietly, though. Yesterday the motor and mechanical guts of my garage door died. All of it had to be replaced. I had a physical therapy appointment for 11:30 this morning but when I arrived I was told that not only did it not exist but that I had none scheduled in the future. I had to go home and return with the schedule they printed for me through January.

But it wasn’t all bad. I went to the deli for lunch, got a haircut and took a nice nap. For dinner I defrosted some vegetable soup and watched a little television.

My New Years resolution is to get my blood pressure under control, which includes more exercise and better food choices.

So Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 2019. Wish I could say it was fun.
