Bobbles

It is usual at this time for me to be knitting something for Grace as it is her birthday early next month. She chooses the pattern and the yarn and I knit! This year she said she wanted bobbles after seeing a pattern in one of my heritage knitting books for an Aran dress. Thankfully she didn’t want a dress and found a vintage cardigan pattern on line. This is part of the second (right) front. The yarn is Shetland wool and is very nice, neutral with just a hint of colour.
Grace bought a pattern book for the same yarn with 14 designs in it so I think I’m going to be kept busy!
It was a sunny morning when we went to ATN singing in Bingley where we did a new song as well as revisiting a couple of others for the coming season. It has become increasingly dark and windy since getting home and the afternoon has progressed. First drops on rain have just started so it looks like Storm Brendan is on its way. Wish I didn’t have to go out again!
Take care everyone in the UK.
