New life

At 4pm I got the dreaded call to say my car had failed it’s MOT and it is going to cost lots to fix, and that I couldn’t have it back today. That plummeted me into a bad mood. Instantly I felt fed up and worried. So Jon picked me up from the park and ride, and they have now gone to the gym, leaving me to stew. God I hate cars. Mine is quite old and is almost on 100000 miles, but so essential to get me from this village to anywhere. But when do you call it a day when your car is costing £600/£700 each MOT? I don’t know. I’m supposed to be reducing my hours in April, and that will mean lower wage. It also seems more to worry about. Grrr

So I’ve found a positive blip. Something I spotted at the weekend that made me super excited, and even happy for a while. There is a shoot, that should eventually have flowers, on my orchid. It is momentous because I have always killed orchids in the past. So I’ve found the place it likes. Mollie’s bedroom window sill. Bright, but cool.

Hoping for flowers soon. :)
