Another first

We had the first snowdrops and celandine last week. The viburnum has been blooming prolifically for weeks now. The first hellebores are in flower in the shady garden.

I walked through the village this afternoon in the fine drizzle that has characterised the day and saw my first primroses of 2020.

After I came home, the sun appeared, but not for long before sunset.
