Marjorie's ramblings

Artistic in Prague

I had a slow start, with a bit of a lie-in. Then I wandered around the streets near to the hotel.

Not far away is the John Lennon Wall.

The history of the wall is fascinating. It continues to change. People of all ages queued up to have their photographs taken beside Lennon’s image. See extras.

After lunch, the photo workshop with Charlotte Gillian began. We did some long exposure work near the Charles Bridge. By the water’s edge we were accompanied by many different species of birds and three coypus. I kid you not! I decided to experiment with a high key image.

We took a tram to a good viewpoint for when the lights came on the bridge. Hot chocolate was required because of the altitude!

Then a short photo shoot in a couple of alleys. Dinner was in a traditional restaurant. A monastery has a micro brewery. I had the red beer. Very good it was too.

Back for an early night. We will be off by 6 in the morning.
