MCO day 10

A disturbed night as I took the phone to bed (doh) and Amelia fell of the couch aboyt 3 a.m., loud wailing.

Today's classroom session was assited by the free access to Twinkl resources.  The interactive phonics and number games were a lightsaver.

There was lunch for all of us on the balcony, no sun, it has moved overhead, accompanied by a discussion as to whether Wen Hui should volunteer as an architect for the temp hospitals etc.  Is it safe, for her and us?

Quiet afternoon with Cosmic Yoga and some cross stitch.  I finished another flower.  Gordon made dinner; an eclectic mix of steak, oven chips and Spanish omelette.

I followed this with a test Skype call to the College as two bits of news came in:  the Chair recruitment process has been suspended so I am 'it' for the next few months and the UK PM has the virus.  The Agong (King) and his wife are self isolating here, just down the road She is also cooking and publishing recipes on Instagram.  It is such a novelty for
many Malaysians to cook.

I had a drink from a bottle marked 'Gin?', it was, and later a beer with Marian Keyes.

We watched the gardeners and cleaners downstairs earlier, essential workers but no sense of social distancing.  A reason for not going downstairs.

But we do have a balcony which is growing plants including edible ones.  This succulent has produced flowers too.

10 days down: 18 to go.
