Gardener's Friend

Not so cold this morning, and so I took my morning coffee out into the gardens. Shared a couple of conversations with the outside world,. over the park-end hedge, and accepted some much needed supplies from friends from across the village.

This fellow came out while I was chasing bumble bees and hoverflies with the long lens. The shot is already scaled back from the original 61MPx but look large at the lovely feathering detail. Not bad considering it's a Canon lens on an adaptor.

I've avoided Joe Wicks on YouTube after he broke me last week. I remember now, I'm not sixteen... But I am certainly missing the long walks. I imagine eventually we will relax this shielding regime, but I'm not going to be the one to suggest it.
