Heart for Heroes

This isn’t a creative heart but it’s one I particularly love. I bought it at Ullapool’s Saturday market from an arts stall. It is made from painted stone and I particularly like the colours. There are more hanging in the ‘Wee Hoose’ in Achnahaird.
It is here today as a thank you for all those out there on the front line. In particular the doctors and nurses and not forgetting the grossly underpaid care workers. Those we know and those we may never know, they are doing an amazing job.
Remembering those too supplying and selling us our food and other essentials. The food production company in Hereford, where my son was going again today to make sure the boiler keeps working, was on the TV yesterday.
This heart is also for all our loved ones and friends wherever they are. Remember to keep in touch with those important to you.

I’ve had a funny day waking, as I have on several other days, around 4.00am. No idea why. TML Here and There will be testament to the fact I was online very early, doing blip comments and then reading. The only bonus us hearing the birds awakening.
Eventually I got up just after 6.00am. Did all the usual, bath, breakfast and Face time With Grace and Eda and then promptly fell asleep! So no morning walk. I have been out this afternoon when the sun appeared, just around the village calling in the PO for the weekly papers. Just outside is the village skip provided by local businesses as the household tips are closed. It looked well used and so appreciated. Hope we can all support and appreciate our village shops and staff who are keeping going.

Thank you all for your lovely comments, stars and hearts for my 10 year blip yesterday. The heart is for you lovely blip folk too.
