A view from Jeanneb

Blooming Good Friday

A short walk today but I knew before we set off what the subject of my blip would be. After the surprise of the bluebell two days ago I noticed that the village blossom trees were very close to opening.

We walked to the top of the village to deliver some Easter goodies to son Alex and after an across the pavement chat we returned across the fields to the bottom of the village coming out into the main road to Wilsden. The lovely daffodils are being superseded by cherry and a few almond blossom trees.

Lots of flowers everywhere at the minute making the village paths, roads and gardens looking very attractive in the spring sunshine.
Hard to choose one of them but I particularly liked this little sprig of blossom against the roughly textured bark of the tree.

Have a lovely Easter weekend everyone and stay safe.
