Rue

Back in March I blipped the emerging leaves of this meadow rue, Thalictrum 'Elin'. It's growing well, tall and sturdy, and its lovely pinky purple flowers are coming out. Took the Olympus for a walk in the garden to try to get close to the petals. Many thanks to Biker Bear for the Flower Friday challenge

Just for accuracy I should say that yesterday's caterpillar is a Garden Tiger. Thanks to Buglife Scotland for the information and for pointing me towards the magnificent moth this caterpillar will become.

Morning catch up with the Dutch branch of the family this morning and it was good to get the news from Netherlands of the restrictions there being lifted slightly.

A walk in the fields after that. Sunny and warm (ish) when the wind drops but still chilly when it gusts.

Photo archive work this afternoon and garden time too I hope.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable and healthy weekend
