Stilleben

The full name of this composition is "Peony against dirty glass".

I've had a repetition of a day, looking much like yesterday and the day before that. We are having fair weather but northerly, chilly winds that makes it unpleasant to sit on the veranda, I don't seem to have any sheltered place where I can enjoy my coffee and ice cream in the sun after lunch. I fetched one of the newly flowering peonies and put it in a vase in my glass-veranda, that will substitute for outside.
