Bollards

There are five of these bollards along one of the main roads in town.  It looks like there may have been a driveway there a long, long time ago and these were preventing entry.  Whatever the questionable reason for their existence, they are in need of some TLC.
(I don't know why they don't just put in a curb and take these ugly things out.)
